Student Guide: Download Canvas Mobile App

This article will walk you through the steps for using the Canvas Student app on your mobile devices.

Once you've downloaded the Canvas Student mobile app, you will have two methods to log in.

First-Time Users

If you haven't previously logged into any device, follow these steps:

1. Press the "Find my school" button

2. Type in the School URL (canvas.upenn.edu) or select the University of Pennsylvania, then log in with your PennKey credential.

If you have a device that’s already logged into Canvas, you can use your QR code to log in:

1. Launch the app and select QR Login

2. Log into your Canvas web account, go to the “Account” tab on the left navigation bar, click “QR for mobile login” at the bottom

3. Use your mobile device to scan the QR code and you are all set
