Student Guide: Set Up Your Canvas Profile

Setting up a Canvas profile allows users to share personal details with course participants. While everyone has a profile, adding information is optional. Students should be mindful of the impression they wish to make, especially since instructors and TAs can view profiles. It's recommended to be discreet and present oneself appropriately. You can share a profile picture, a bio, contact methods, and relevant web links on your Canvas profile.

Here is how you can set up your Canvas Profile:

1. Go to the navigation bar on the left, go to account (1), and then go to profile (2)

2. Click Edit Profile on the top right corner (1) and you are free to change your photo (2), add a bibliography (3), and add your personal links (4).
