Can I keep my Penn student email during the Leave of Absence?
This document is intended for GSE students who are (or will be) taking a Leave of Absence.
The short answer is: Yes.
In order to keep your email, you'll need an "active" affiliation with the University. Taking a Leave of Absence automatically "deactivates" your affiliation by a University system. In order to prevent your Outlook email from expiring, please follow the below steps:
- Please open a support ticket with GSE IT and let us know your plan (When you'll leave and return).
- Once your Leave is confirmed with the Student Records Office, we'll proceed with the affiliation adjustment process.
